Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza, an amazing actress, has made a name for herself on the television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother, were both born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. Soon after she moved to Texas to pursue her training in physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for long. She soon made the move into Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of roles as an actor including independent local films and commercials. Although she only had a few part-time roles, she quickly realized her love for acting. Then she moved in New York and in 2001 she landed her first acting gig on the soap opera for daytime viewers All My Children as Rosa Santos. In the beginning of 2000 she appeared in small roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she got her first big series part in the drama The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano along with some of the greatest TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi as well as Mitch Pilegge. She was A.D.A. in Law & Order which was where her best-known performance came from 2006. Connie Rubirosa. She was a part of 85 episodes. Then she joined the short-lived sequel Law & Order: LA. Her character was a hit and earned De La Garza many nominations including Best Supporting Actress - Television through the Imagen Foundation Awards and even a few ALMA Award noms. The actress was awarded the Impact Award in 2008 for her outstanding performance on an intense television show from National Hispanic Media Coalition. In the next few days, De La Garza was cast on CSI Miami in a recurring part. She was Marisol Deko in the role of wife of David Caruso's character Horatio Caine. as Dr. Lena Solis, she was most recently seen in the NBC drama Do No Harm. The series was cancelled after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is Italian and is the youngest of two sisters Cory. She was raised in a relatively conservative and religious family. Milano started her acting career when she was seven years old. The babysitter took her on stage for auditions. With more than 1000 applicants they were selected among only four. Milano has been featured in TV ads, Off-Broadway productions as well as the American debut of Jane Eyre.
